Human Factors and Risks – From Theory to Safety Management Practice in Aviation
17 December 2025
Course Provider: MarServices
Course Description:
Effective safety in aviation requires more than just procedures – it thrives on leadership behaviour, clear responsibilities and a sound understanding of human factors. In this course, we combine management behaviour and responsibilities, safety risk management in aviation and the concept of practical drift to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
A central component is a practical group exercise in which participants apply the complete safety risk management process. Key factors such as violations, assertiveness and complacency are analysed with the aim of identifying risks at an early stage, improving decision-making and promoting safety-related behaviour in the long term.
Dates: 17 - 18 December 2025 (2 days). More dates to be announced for 2026.
Location: Haag an der Amper, Germany
Recognition: Half Course.
Note: This course is only taught in German in 2025. An English version of this course is planned for 2026.
