MASTER PROGRAM: Human Factors in Aviation

The School of Engineering at Coventry University will start its brandnew Master Program on Human Factors in Aviation (by Distance Learning) in September 2014.

This course will equip aviation professionals with a thorough appreciation of all aspects of the discipline and how they can be applied to best effect in the aeronautical industry. It adopts a systemic approach, emphasising the benefits of an integrated, approach to the application of Human Factors principles.

The following course modules will be covered in the course:

  • Human Information Processing on the Flight Deck
  • Decision Making and Error in Aviation
  • Selection, Training and Simulation
  • Stress, Stressors and Well-being
  • CRM and LOSA
  • Flight Deck Design
  • Human Factors and Safety Management
