Human Factors in Flight Safety Initial Training Course

The EAAP-recognised Human Factors in Flight Safety initial training course will be held in Sitges, near Barcelona from 13-17 April 2026, kindly hosted and supported by Vueling. This popular training course has been conducted on behalf of EAAP since 1999 and is aimed at all aviation professionals working in or supporting civil or military flight operations. The target audience includes cabin crew, pilots, ATCOs, engineers, maintenance crew, safety managers, psychologists, human factors managers, trainers, CRM instructors, air safety investigators, aviation regulators and other safety professionals. It is usually attended by about 20 participants representing airlines, ANSPs, aerospace manufacturers, regulators, safety investigation agencies and consultancies from across Europe, the UK, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. Course team leaders will again be Dr Alan Hobbs and Brenton Hayward, with special guest presentations from clinical and mental health psychologist Catarina Cunha and aviation psychologist and current EAAP President Gunnar Steinhardt.
Dates: 13-17 April 2026. (5 days, 08:45 until 17:00 hrs)
Location: Hotel Calipolis, Sitges (near Barcelona), Spain.
Recognition: Full Course credit.
