UBA INMAE Course on Aviation Psychology and Human Factors

This 4-month, online course taught by Lic. Modesto Alonso and Lic. Nicolás G. Machín along with a staff of over 23 specialists (started 25 years ago marking this year as its 25th edition) will Introduce the study of conceptual frameworks and contents that address general and specific psychological problems, and Human Factors (HF), of the Aeronautical and Space Socio-Technical System (SSA).

As well as an update on the contributions of applied psychology to the study and solution of problems in the aeronautical field, guided by the culture of operational safety and seeking integration into interdisciplinary teams, within the framework of Human Factors.

Also, the course introduces the study of approaches to operational safety, techniques for detecting and managing human error, and the investigation and prevention of aeronautical and space accidents. This course is provided and acknowledged by the University of Buenos Aires – Faculty of Psychology. (Extension Secretary) in agreement with the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Aeronáutica y Espacial (INMAE- Argentine Air Force).

The course starts on 26th of March and ends on the 16th of July.

Course modality: Online; with optative zooms (students can opt for joining live session or reviewing a later recording) which will be held on Tuesday's from 9:30 to 1230 AM (GMT -3:00)
