Registered Aviation Psychologists & Human Factors Specialists
EAAP certification is meant as professional peer recognition for psychologists and aviation operators who actively deal with human factors applications in their day-to-day work. It requires relevant proof of qualification, education and activities in aviation psychology and/or human factors. However it is not equivalent to any academic degree or postgraduate specialisation (e.g. psychotherapist).
Full members or Associate members of EAAP who wish to become EAAP-certified Aviation Psychologists or Human Factors Specialists may apply for the certification when they meet the EAAP-requirements. Newly graduated psychologists may be certified as Junior Aviation Psychologists when they meet specific requirements.
The EAAP board decides on individual certification.
