EAAP offers membership in the following categories: Full Member, Associate Member, Student Member, Corporate Member and Retired Member. See Application for membership to apply. EAAP has also a number of Honorary Members who, during their active membership, were of special service to the association.
Full membership of EAAP is open to those who hold a full degree in psychology (Masters Degree), work as psychologist in civil or military aviation, and live within the geographical boundaries of Europe, or in a country which partially lies within these boundaries. See the Articles of the Association.
Associate membership of EAAP is open to persons who do not meet the requirements for full membership but who are active in the field of aviation human factors (for instance as a trainer or facilitator [CRM/TRM] of crew), have work experience in the field, and who through their knowledge and experience contribute to the enhancement of flight safety. Associate members are entitled to participate in all activities of the association, with the exception of attending the business meetings referred to in the articles of the association.
Student membership is open to students of psychology who are interested in the field of aviation psychology and human factors. Student members will be kept informed of all activities of EAAP and are encouraged to attend EAAP-conferences and EAAP-courses.
Corporate members are sponsors of EAAP that pay an annual contribution. Corporate members are entitled to send an observer to the conferences organized by EAAP and, if the representative of the corporate member is a psychologist, also to the EAAP business meetings. Corporate members will be kept informed of all activities of EAAP and will be included in official publications of EAAP.
Full members and associate members may wish to stay within EAAP as Retired Members after their retirement from active duty in aviation. They will be kept informed of EAAP activities.
