1994 - At the business meeting in Dublin the decision was made to change WEAAP into EAAP, following political changes in Europe.

1996 - The first EAAP course in Aviation Psychology took place in Italy. The same year a co-operation with the European Commission in Ispra (Italy) started to organise courses for Aviation Psychologists and Aviation Human Factors Specialists.

2004 - The first EAAP Award scheme was established to recognise individuals or teams for outstanding achievements in European Aviation Psychology and Human Factors.

Today - EAAP has more then 300 active professional members coming from all aviation psychology related areas of the aviation industry.

Future - It is hoped that the opportunity to enter a professional network in aviation psychology and to benefit from the association's activities will encourage many more professionals working in the fields of aviation psychology and human factors to join and to actively support EAAP in the future.
